Stopwatch and Countdown timer

We’ve just released two new widgets that are useful for time management – a stopwatch and a countdown timer. You can add them to your page using the “Add widgets” menu at the top of your screen. Enjoy!

Just started using Protopage again after being unhappy with other start pages. I love having a couple of personal images on my start page, and the customizability can’t be found elsewhere, I have to say!

I didn’t know this blog was being updated. My widget had old news and never updated :D So I poked around and figured out how to fix it and wow are there a lot of great tips here! I LOVE the mark as read/unread feature.

I’ve spent so much time here in the past day messing around I’ve not done my work. :D Oops.

It would appear that Protopage is becoming less functional. More and more web pages can no longer be embedded in a web widget

    Take this link for example:

    http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/forecast/gcwfhf1w0

If you use this link in a web widget, all that is shown is a blank widget, in Google Chrome. In Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer the following error is shown:

    ————-
This content can’t be shown in a frame
There is supposed to be some content here, but the publisher doesn’t allow it to be displayed in a frame. This is to help protect the security of any information you might enter into this site.

Protopage team, if you can’t support these types of websites then your web widgets are going to become useless. And given that may web pages are abandoning RSS feeds, there isn’t going to much use for Protopage before long.

Also, where are the Protopage support contact details?
