Problems accessing Protopage from some work networks protected by a ‘Palo Alto Networks’ web filter

We’ve had a few people contact us in the last few days about problems accessing their Protopage only from work or school computers (but not from their home connection).

It appears that some of you may have an IT department that uses a ‘Palo Alto Networks’ web filter which is incorrectly classifying Protopage as a site that should be blocked.

If this is happening to you, please ask your IT department to create a support request with Palo Alto Networks to ask them to reclassify Protopage. If enough of you request this, the company should hopefully spend some time investigating and whitelisting Protopage.

Are protopages now showing a banner near the top of the page?

I think this has been cleared up recently. I ran the offending links through Palo Alto’s link checker yesterday and they were classified OK. My access through our Palo Alto started working again today.
