Performance optimizations and automatic return linking released
A few of you have written in about Firefox using some extra CPU time. We’ve just released a set of tweaks that will increase performance and lower CPU usage to zero when the page is idle. We’re also working on further improvements including a new caching layer which will decrease page load times.
We also just released a new feature for those with blogs. Protopage will replace the default CNN news feed with the news feed from your own blog. It will do this automatically when you link to us (it detects the page from which new users arrive, and sets their new Protopage up by autodetecting the news feed from your blog). Consider it as us returning the favor by automatically linking back to you.

Would it be possilbe to get the duplicate funtion back for widgets? It used to be under the edit function I think.

MacsBaine, I just noticed this too, that only some widgets have the duplicate icon when widget is moused over…why is this?

Great job on the new version. Keep up the good work.

When creating news feed widgets, the directory of different feeds open to select from. Only ONE can be selected. How about an option to select more than one at the time of creating the widget? Or when editing the widget, how about an option to have the directory open up to select from? This will eliminate the cut and paste of feed addresses under the edit mode.
Thanks for a great Product !

Great work on the update folks – love it – love it – love it!
I don’t know if others would find this useful but I’d really love to be able to sort link lists A-Z or even better by most regularly used. I know it can be done manually and it’s fairly simple but I thought it might mike a worthwhile additional feature.
2nd point… how are you going to make money from pp? Should we be expecting you to start charging soon?
BTW I’m not against the idea as PP is so useful! But limited budgets and all I’d hope it was reasonable (price wise).
All the best
David

Sorry for adding this here. Didn’t know where to place proper feed back.
Bookmark Upgrade Widget Request
The ability to share stuff, users would like to keep a copy of their bookmarks before they would share it. So could you add add “duplicating” button to “bookmarks” and maybe a refresh? As some icons in the bookmarks don’t get retrieved.

Have you ever hear about the car DVR? It’s not only a high-tech product but also a recorder for your car from your driving. When you have a traffic accident with your car, it’s fortunately that you have a car DVR in you car since you can evidence to prove your innocence.

Thanks for sharing your views and itnpirasion for this. I’ve enjoyed reading your thoughts very much.As for the image, it is quite stunning (as the others). This is probably also my favorite as well the black and white suits it quite well. Plus, I think it a very special thing to be able to get an image this beautiful mostly in-camera. There is surely something to be said for editing/photoshop skill, but for me the magic of photography is what happens in the photographer’s head and in the camera/darkroom.You are right thought that by editing you are allowing yourself to show us a bit of how you see the world. But still, I find it immensely apparent in this shot. I feel more like I am here with you as you hit the shutter the emotion is not covered by layers of editing after the fact Thanks again for sharing your thoughts and listening to mine. =)-Jason
