Photo uploading feature pre-announcement
Protopage will be adding more than a dozen new features over the next few months. Next up: photos.
Putting photos on your Protopage
You can already put your own pictures and wallpaper onto your Protopage by uploading them to an external image hosting service (instructions here).
In the next few weeks, we’ll be making this process much easier with a brand new Photo Widget, which will guide you through the process of choosing your photo, uploading it and resizing it to fit an area of your page.
Also coming soon: a new news feed indexing engine, which will allow you to add custom feeds that may previously have been troublesome.
We are developing and planning new features by holding focus groups with people that have written in. Please continue to tell us what you want to see – your detailed suggestions and bug reports are directly shaping the future of Protopage.

Thank you for this wonderful program, and yes the photographs are a problem.
I heard about this program from the podcast “Inside the Net” with Amber Mcarthur and Leo Laporte

i hope you will allow people to upload a series of images that could be seen in slide show format. maybe a flicker integration so that you could see it within your page?

I agree with the above. If you want to figure out about enhancements, look to the Yahoo Widget engine. Already using it. To do’s are easy as well as adding pictures and linking to Webcams.

Great program.
I would like to be abe to control the feed that I have on the page .
I would only like to see feeds from 24hrs ago not all the feeds from the days before.
Maybe it’s already available and I am not seeing it.
Thanks
keep up the great work.

Don’t see the time/date on the news feeds. How do I know how recent they are?
Are we limited to how much storage we use? I would like to use it in my work project.

KenG: there appears to be no set limit to amount of space.

Yep, great program… very handy!
I’m having trouble uploading and editing the size and comments fields for pics, can’t enter anything! Am I being thick or is this a known issue? With a solution?
Cheers all!

Excellently written article, if only all bloggers offered the same content as you, the internet would be a much better place. Please keep it up!
